§ 1-12-121. Variance, appeal, and penalties.

(a)

Variance. Variances from the provisions of this article shall be governed by section 3-9-6.1, Charlotte County Code.

(b)

Appeal. Appeals from interpretations or decisions rendered by the zoning official shall be governed by section 3-9-6 of the Charlotte County Code.

(c)

Penalties. It shall be unlawful and a violation of this Code to violate the provisions of this article. Each violation of this article shall be considered a separate violation. Violations of the provisions of this article are within the jurisdiction of the Charlotte County Code Enforcement Board and shall be enforced pursuant to Chapter 162, Florida Statutes.

(d)

Civil remedy. In addition to the above provisions, the county may initiate an action in any court of competent jurisdiction to restrain any violation of this article.
