§ 1-10-290. Food or goods within five hundred feet of schools.

Notwithstanding section 1-10-288, it is unlawful to sell, solicit sales, vend or serve any food or goods by any means in the public right-of-way including streets, sidewalks or other public property within five hundred (500) feet of any property owned or operated for public and private school purposes. This section shall not prohibit custodians or managers of public or private schools from conducting sales by those custodians or managers on the property under their control.
