§ 4-3-275. General authority.

The board may provide for fire protection services through a contracted provider through the imposition of fire protection service assessments (hereinafter "assessment" or assessments") upon property within the unit at a rate of assessment based on the special benefit accruing to such property from the fire services provided. Assessments shall be assessed in conformity with the procedures set forth in this article.
