§ 4-3.5-99. Background.

(a)

US Home Corporation submitted a petition to the Board of County Commissioners of Charlotte County, Florida ("board") pursuant to F.S. Chapter 190, to establish the West Charlotte Harbor Community Development District ("CDD").

(b)

On November 21, 2006, the board held a public hearing on the petition.

(c)

Notice of the public hearing, containing the time and place for the hearing, describing the area to be included in the CDD, including a map showing the area to be covered by the CDD, was timely given.
