§ 2-3-82. Alternate.

Each hospital represented by a committee member shall choose an alternate to serve in the place of the committee member if he is not available to be present at the MAC. The alternates shall be appointed by each hospital and shall be subject to the board of county commissioners' approval. These alternates may attend all meetings of the MAC, but their attendance is not required; nor shall they have a vote on any of the advisory committee matters except when the alternate is acting in the place of a committee member. Any vacancy of an alternate shall be replaced by its respective hospital subject to the approval of the board of county commissioners.
