The provisions of this home rule charter are not intended, and shall not be construed,
to conflict with the constitution of the State of Florida, general law, or special
law approved by vote of the electorate.
B.
If any provision of this charter or the application thereof to any person or circumstance
is held invalid, the invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the charter which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application,
and to this end the provisions of this charter are declared severable.
