§ 1-5-4. Regulations governing operation.

  • The maintenance and operation of county cemeteries shall be pursuant to rules, procedures, and regulations which, when duly adopted by the board pursuant to a resolution, shall have the force and effect of law. Copies of such rules, procedures and regulations, when adopted, shall be at all times kept on file in the public works division of the county. The rules, procedures and regulations adopted by the board may be modified and amended from time to time by the county administrator without approval of the board; provided, however, that any such modification or amendment shall be formal only. Any substantive changes to such rules, procedures and regulations shall require board approval.
