§ 1-2-191. Tangible personal property.

  • In accordance with Chapter 274, Florida Statutes (1993), or the latest revision thereof, the board of county commissioners shall require the recording and inventory of fixtures and other tangible property of a nonconsumable nature the value of which is as stated in the then-current provision of Chapter 274, Florida Statutes, or more, and the normal life expectancy of which is one (1) year or more.

    Procedures and guidelines shall be prescribed by the purchasing manual for the acquisition, supervision, and control of property, and the disposal of surplus or obsolete property, the continued use of which is uneconomical or inefficient, and shall be in compliance with the current Florida Statutes.
