§ 1-2-5. Duties of county commissioners.

That it shall be the duty of the board of county commissioners of each of said new counties, to hold their first meeting on the first Monday after they shall have been duly qualified, and at said meeting they shall make arrangements for carrying on the county government and shall perform such other duties as may be required of them by law. And at some future meeting they shall order an election for the purpose of locating a permanent county seat for each said county[,] in accordance with the laws of Florida[,] to be held not later than the second Tuesday in February, 1923.
