§ 1-2-3. Temporary county seat; county courthouse.

The City of Punta Gorda shall be the temporary county seat of Charlotte County until a permanent county seat is duly established for the county in accordance with the laws of Florida. The principal courthouse and related facilities for judicial activity shall be maintained within the City of Punta Gorda.
