Article XII. HEARINGS INVOLVING REGULATED COMPANIES |
§ 1-10-349. Appropriations.
The board is authorized to appropriate monies from the utility or regulated company administrative fee revenues (sections 1-10-202, 4-4-30(d), 4-4-60(d), 3-6-63.1, and 3-8-61, Charlotte County Code) to fund the compensation and expenses of hearing officers.

TABLE 1
HEARING OFFICER PROCEEDINGS
The board of county commissioners or the county administrator, as applicable, may refer any proceeding involving a hearing listed in the Code sections in the following table to a hearing officer in accordance with Ordinance No. 93-44. In each case, the hearing officer shall conduct and preside over the due process evidentiary hearing; he shall not make the final order in the proceeding.
