§ 1-10-349. Appropriations.

  • The board is authorized to appropriate monies from the utility or regulated company administrative fee revenues (sections 1-10-202, 4-4-30(d), 4-4-60(d), 3-6-63.1, and 3-8-61, Charlotte County Code) to fund the compensation and expenses of hearing officers.

    HEARING OFFICER PROCEEDINGS

    The board of county commissioners or the county administrator, as applicable, may refer any proceeding involving a hearing listed in the Code sections in the following table to a hearing officer in accordance with Ordinance No. 93-44. In each case, the hearing officer shall conduct and preside over the due process evidentiary hearing; he shall not make the final order in the proceeding.
