§ 1-10-301. Statement of intent.

(a)

It is the purpose and intent of the county to:

(1)

Require all persons that are engaged in the escort service business to be regulated by county ordinance.

(2)

Prevent illegal activities to be conducted in conjunction with the operation of escort service businesses.

(3)

Provide for the citizens of the county an efficient and effective means by which escort service businesses may be regulated to ensure safe and appropriate operation of such businesses within the county.

(b)

It is further the intent of the county that escort service businesses be conducted only by those persons or entities duly authorized to do so by means of a county permit and escort license.
