§ 1-10-185. Administration; delegation of powers and authority.

(a)

The board/franchising authority is hereby designated as responsible for the continuing administration and enforcement of this article and matters related to cable service, cable systems, and franchised cable operators.

(b)

Unless prohibited by federal, state, or local law, the board/franchising authority may further delegate its powers and authority to a duly authorized representative, with respect to administering this article or an applicable franchise agreement.However, the board/franchising authority may never delegate its franchising (initial or renewal), revocation, ratemaking, fee-imposing, or taxing power (if permitted to do so) to another person, representative, or county agency/department.
