§ 1-10-121. License required; classifications.

(a)

Requirement. No sexually oriented business shall be permitted to operate without having first been granted a sexually oriented business license by the community development department under this article, except under the conditions set forth in section 1-10-125 of this article.

(b)

Classifications. Any sexually oriented business shall be classified as an adult bookstore/adult video store/adult novelty store, adult dancing establishment, adult photographic or modeling studio, adult theater, as such terms are defined in Charlotte County Code, section 3-9-2, or any combination of these uses, based on the information in the application subject to subsequent inspection for verification.
